GetFun Events books the complete entertainment bill for corporate and private events across Ontario — close-up magic at the cocktail hour, a stage illusion show after dinner, a DJ and host who keep the whole night on schedule. One contract, one point of contact, no gaps between acts.
Real events, real audiences — not stock photography.

Every service below is booked and run by GetFun Events directly — not sub-contracted out to whoever's free that weekend. That's what lets us guarantee the whole night fits together.
01
Strolling sleight-of-hand for cocktail hours and trade show floors. One performer works table to table — nobody's watching a stage, they're all watching their own hands.
Best for: receptions, VIP tables, booths Performed by The Magic Dad
02
A seated 20–30 minute show for 20–75 guests — sharper and more interactive than table magic, more intimate than a stage act.
Best for: hospitality suites, private dinners Performed by The Magic Dad
03
A full-scale illusion show built for a ballroom stage and a lighting rig — the kind of act an audience gasps at together, then talks about at the next meeting.
Best for: galas, award nights, conferences Performed by The Magic DadCustom balloon sculpture on the spot — including corporate mascots and logo shapes guests actually keep and photograph.
Best for: family days, launches, boothsProfessional, hygienic face and body art for family festivals and brand activations — fast lines, clean designs, no smudging by 3pm.
Best for: picnics, festivals, activations
06
A DJ who reads a corporate room, not just a dance floor — dinner music, clean transitions, and a set that gets executives dancing without ever feeling forced.
Best for: any event with a dance floor
07
Someone to run the room — introductions, award presentations, interactive games — and keep the whole night on the timeline you actually gave us.
Best for: award ceremonies, team buildingDifferent rooms need different acts. Here's how we typically split the lineup by event type — your proposal is built around your room, not a fixed package.
Stage magic after dinner, an emcee to run the awards, close-up magic during cocktails.
Close-up magic and balloon art draw a crowd to your booth and keep them there.
DJ, emcee-hosted games, and a parlor show that works for a mixed-seniority room.
Cocktail-hour magic, a DJ for the reception, and an emcee to keep the schedule on track.
Face painting and balloon twisting built for high volume, all-ages foot traffic.
Pick your event type and the acts you're considering — we'll turn it into a proposal, not a quote from a price list.
Tap an event type and a few acts to see your lineup build here.
Guest count, audience mix, venue, and budget range. Fifteen minutes on the phone or a form — either works.
You get a proposal with the specific acts, timing, and a run sheet your event planner or venue coordinator can actually work from.
Every performer arrives briefed on your schedule. If something shifts in real time, you call one person — not five.
GetFun Events is a roster, not a one-man show — every act is a named specialist we book and manage directly, so you know exactly who's walking into your room.
For nearly 35 years, The Magic Dad has been perfecting the art of wonder — magic, mentalism, hypnosis, and everything in between. He's performed close-up, parlor, and full stage shows for audiences of every kind, from corporate ballrooms to backyard birthday parties, and he still finds something new to love about the moment someone realizes what they just saw.
“After 35 years, I've learned the real trick isn't what happens in my hands — it's watching a room full of strangers turn into an audience that trusts each other.”
DJ Magic rediscovered his love of music three years ago, and it's taken over ever since. He's brought that energy to everything from intimate family celebrations to full corporate dance floors, with an ear for reading a room and a knack for building a set that eases guests from dinner conversation into dancing without anyone quite noticing the shift.
“My favourite moment of the night is watching someone who swore they weren't going to dance change their mind.”

The Magic Dad was the highlight of our backyard pool party! His walkaround magic and mentalism had everyone—from the kids to the adults—laughing, amazed, and questioning the impossible. Every group experienced something unique, and people were still talking about the incredible moments long after the party ended. He created an unforgettable atmosphere and made our event feel truly special. We wouldn't hesitate to book him again.
I have to say—the group were really impressed with you! It was really a lot of fun. Your close-up magic, mentalism, and parlor performance kept everyone completely engaged and amazed throughout the evening. Watching our guests react to impossible predictions and mind-reading moments was priceless. You brought a unique energy to our event, and the feedback from our team was overwhelmingly positive.
The Magic Dad delivered an outstanding stage magic and mentalism show that captivated audiences from beginning to end. His combination of interactive magic, mind-reading, comedy, and audience participation created an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages. The performance attracted great crowds, kept people engaged, and was one of the highlights of the Halal Ribfest. We would be delighted to have him return for future events.
Yes — performer insurance is available upon request. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance (COI) before confirming a booking, let us know when you request your proposal and we'll have it ready.
We book events across Ontario. Travel fees for locations outside the immediate area are included in your proposal — no surprise line items after you've signed.
Yes — balloon shapes, magic routines, and emcee scripts can incorporate your logo, product, or campaign theme. Flag this in your request so we can build it into the proposal.
For galas and holiday-season dates, 6–10 weeks out is ideal since those calendars fill first. Smaller bookings can often be accommodated with less notice — ask us.
Bundling acts under one booking (e.g. magic + DJ + emcee) is typically more cost-efficient than hiring each separately, since you're paying for one coordinated booking rather than three. Ask for a bundled quote.
Tell us about your event and we'll come back with a proposal built for your room, not a generic package.
